Early morning start to visit the Southern loop of the park. One WOW moment gave way to another as the size and the changing nature of the subsurface activity became evident. It was great to drive though the morning mist, few cars and no people. As the sun rose the crowds at most of the roadside stops, began to build culminating in huge crowds for the 11.35 am predicted spouting of the Old Faithful geyser. Impressive for sure but the park is so full of impressive activity – a geologists dream.
