Rock Springs to Grand Teton NP

As we left Rock Spring, the flatness of the landscape soon gave way to distant snow covered mountain peaks. By lunchtime we made it to Jackson Hole which is the closest town to the park. We made it to the the Grand Tetons NP by late afternoon by which time most of the campsites were full. We ended up staying at the lovely Grande Verte which was near the southern entrance to the park.
