Heading Home
From Hollywood to Warriewood Sept 22-23, 2010
So it is time to return home. We found downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills a bit tawdry. Maybe it was tiredness or maybe the smog combined with the Pacific Ocean mist – it felt suffocating. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to live here. We spent our last day driving through the Hollywood Hills on Mulholland Drive with a ‘view’ over Los Angeles including the famous sign.
We were transported from Hollywood to Warriewood in what felt like time compression. 
By golly it was nice to be home but we have been home for less that 30 hours and we were off again.
