North Cascades NP

A day trip from Everet to Cascades NP. A park famous for having the highest number of glaciers in the lower 48 states. Sadly to visit any of them really required a multiday backcountry camping trip. We did not come well prepared nor did we have enough time. The sections of the park visible within easy walking distance were dominated by the three dams that form part of the Seattle Hydro electricity scheme. By late afternoon we headed back towards Seattle.
