UPDATE

We made it to Stevens Pass, both well and no issues except for the heat. We are waiting for late afternoon hoping it cools down before heading out. I did wish for a bit of warm weather.
I’ll update the blog when we get to Stehekin. More stinking hot weather is on the way.

It gets hot but not for this long

This is the weather we have had for over 2 months straight, only with about 30% humidity. I hope you can stay hydrated, which I am sure must be a challenge while hiking!

30% humidity and high heat, sounds like an oven. The plentiful snowmelt streams and patches of snow have been a lifesaver.
